Decoding Consciousness
Welcome to Decoding Consciousness.
What if reality isn't something that happens to you... but something you're creating?
Hosted by Sisters Grace Denney & Hannah Sutherland, Decoding Consciousness is a podcast exploring the mysteries of the mind, consciousness, and the nature of reality.
Through honest conversations, personal experiences, and thought-provoking ideas, we dive into psychedelics, spirituality, neuroscience, healing, and the questions that most people are afraid to ask.
From dimensions, timelines, dreams, death, past lives, and altered states of consciousness to the science of the brain, the power of belief, and how our thoughts shape our lives... we're here to explore it all with curiosity and an open mind.
We believe your brain is like a computer, your beliefs are the code, and your reality is the output. By decoding the subconscious programming you've inherited throughout your life, you can begin to consciously create a reality that aligns with who you truly are.
Whether you're psychedelic-curious, deep into your spiritual journey, or simply fascinated by the biggest questions of existence, this podcast is an invitation to think differently, question everything, and discover what's possible when you begin decoding your own consciousness.
We’ll see you beyond the veil.

Starting with number one, the law of divine oneness.
SPEAKER_01There are things that are so divinely orchestrated in our lives because we are in this interconnected web.
SPEAKER_02That's why it feels real damn awkward when you walk into a room after someone was just arguing.
SPEAKER_01People think you are going to attract what you want, and that's not true. It's you attract what you are. You can't eat McDonald's and expect to have a six-pack. The law of perpetual transmutation of energy. Before the painter creates the painting, it's a canvas and it's paint and it's a paintbrush.
SPEAKER_02The law of cause and effect. Carla's only a bitch if you are the view. You can plant the seeds, but if you don't water it and you don't weed it, you're not gonna have a bountiful harvest. Nothing is inherently bad or good. This law helps us reframe our hardships. You wouldn't know what happiness feels like if you didn't experience the opposite. Next is the law of rhythm.
SPEAKER_01Learning how to surf so that you can ride the wave instead of letting the wave just keep crashing into you. The law of gender. The feminine is the womb, it's the flow, it's the intuition, it's the idea. The masculine is the action to drive, the passion, the motivation to bring it into fruition.
SPEAKER_02My name is Grace.
SPEAKER_01My name is Hannah, and we are so excited to have you back for another episode. Today we are going to dive into the universal laws, but before we get started, we are going to start out always with a little intention in prayer, and today Grace is going to take us away. Okay.
SPEAKER_02Thank you, God, for today. Thank you for waking us up this morning and allowing us to experience all that today has had to offer. Today, probably like many of you, we are feeling a little bit off and we didn't necessarily want to be here, but I am thankful for us showing up for each other and together. And um Yeah, so thank you again for all the equipment that makes this possible, all the hands and minds that created all of it. It is um such a blessing to get to use and create this with my sister who is not in the same part of the country as me right now. Um beyond thankful for my sister, and yeah, I just set the intent to open our channels and allow all information that is wanting to be shared today to come forward as we talk about all the 12 laws of the universe. And thank you to each and every one of you who are listening, taking your precious time and and giving this your attention. It is really, really your time is really really valuable and powerful. So thank you for taking time of your day to listen. And yeah, amen. Bless you all. Send all the love to everyone who needs it today, everyone who's feeling a little bit funky like we were, and just remember to keep showing up and yeah, we all have these days. Um Amen.
SPEAKER_01Amen. Thank you, Grace. That was beautiful. And yes, it's post-eclipse season. I feel like I have an eclipse hangover. That's what I'm contributing to this feeling that I've had for the last two days. It's also rainy here, and I just am so affected by weather. I wish maybe that that wasn't true, but I have a hard time when it's uh gloomy for days at a time.
SPEAKER_02Me too. It makes me just want to do nothing. It's not gloomy here though, it's really nice here today. It was gloomy yesterday, and we were kind of recovering from the wedding we went to on Saturday, so we just did like nothing. And it was so it was so nice, it was a great day. It was a great day, but today I'm feeling like kind of short-tempered, and like my girls are feeling really emotional, and Rylan's feeling emotional, and I was feeling emotional.
SPEAKER_01I went to the gym to move some energy out of my body and just ended up laying on the ground in silence, and I just felt this like I didn't cry, but I just like felt this emotion like sitting in my chest, and I'm like, I don't know if it's like when the clouds are in the sky, I f a little bit feel like I have a cloud over my head, and it's hard not to separate myself from you know the chaos of the world around me sometimes. It's something I still practice, but um something I'm learning is really actually very necessary for my health and and well-being to learn to detach from all those things that are just beyond my control. Seriously, yeah.
SPEAKER_02Me too. But anyways, let's get into it. The laws of the universe. So there is 12 laws of the universe, starting with number one, the law of divine oneness. Amen to that. Yeah, so this states pretty much what it sounds like. We are all one, we are all connected. What we do and say and think affects the collective. Um, so this is really big on service to others. Um it's why it's so important to celebrate each other's wins and just love everyone because we are all one, all part of the same source consciousness, and everything you put out there is in the quantum field that we can that we are all a part of and we all connect to. And yeah, Hannah, what do you gotta say about it?
SPEAKER_01Um, I'm gonna say for one that this is actually found in many different traditions, including uh Buddhism, Tataoism, Hermeticism, and there's not like one singular person who discovered this law, but actually there's different cultures and different people who had been talking about it amongst different times in history, so it's pretty cool that it's actually connected to different religions, different views, different um systems that have been in place in different places of the world, even in different times of history, and that there's still this you know universal truth that I think actually more and more people are starting to wake up to and realize. But the thing that is there's a difference between like like recognizing something, maybe you've heard of this before, and truly understanding like to your core what that means and like what that means for you in your life, and how applying this law can show you ways to improve your overall quality of life. My favorite example for this law to put it into perspective is from the across the across the and into the Spider-Verse movies. In the first one, if you've never seen it, please go watch these movies. They are my favorite movies ever made. They are so bang on, they actually explain a lot of things about quantum physics and the universe. I think there's actually a lot of truth that went into the creation of this movie, and it's so fantastically done. But there is a scene in the first one where King Pin puts Spider-Man's head into this super collider, and when he puts his head through this like black hole essentially, he can see into the universe, and it is this beautifully woven cosmic web. And they talk about it in the first and second one, how there is these moments where we are all intertwined. People talk about the red string theory and all kinds of things, where it's like there are people, there are moments, there are opportunities, there are things that are so divinely orchestrated in our lives because we are in this interconnected web and there is no escaping it. Which is also the most beautiful thing to realize because at any moment in your life when you feel disconnected, when you feel separate, when you feel alone, it's just a gentle reminder that no matter how hard you try, you can't be alone, you can't be separate from the bigger picture. You are the universe in human form, and how do you take yourself out of the universe? You can't, you are interwoven into this whole web, and there is no version without you in it. And I think some days when we're in a funk, when we feel alone, when we're going through something heavy, this reminder of this beautiful woven interconnectedness of humanity, of energy, of consciousness is like, oh yeah, okay, I'm gonna get through it, I'm gonna make it through to the other side because we are all one.
SPEAKER_02Amen. Yeah, no, that's so true. Like, and I think once you like see it that way and become a aware of like you know how connected we are, and like when I went and did ayahuasca and and had my like um life review, this is a really really common thing that happens on this plant medicine. This is also a really really common um theme that happens with near near-death experiences. You go through a life review, and it's like every single moment in your life led you to exactly where you are, and it's like you know, you have to go through every single phase, the ups and the downs to be guided to where you are, and like Hannah said, that is so divinely orchestrated, like there is so much behind the scenes that we don't even realize, and once you realize how connected we are all, like it is not a fucking coincidence that anything happens, and like it's not a coincidence that I am here at this time living living through this awakening with you as my sister, like you know, it's everyone like the actual odds that you get you're here in this physical form at this time, and you know Joe Blow, like it's not a coincidence, and the more you're aware, the more synchronicities that you see in your life, and the more you understand how divine you are and how divine everything around you is, and it's just like such a beautiful way to look at it because it's just like it comes from such a place of love, and it motivates you even more to celebrate others, and like me and R K me and Ral went to the casino for our anniversary the other day, and we're like sitting at this these machines, and I'm like, mine is like about to explode and give me the bonus or whatever, and so there's three of like the same machine, and I'm sitting in the middle, and Rallin sits beside me and is playing the same game and like hits it once, gets the bonus, wins like $300, and then he goes to the machine beside me and does the same thing while I'm sitting there just like trying to get my bonus, and I'm just like I start to get like so frustrated. I'm like, why is he winning and I'm not? And then I was like, Oh, we we're winning. We're winning, we're winning, not only because his money's my money, it's like you know, he is winning. I should be celebrating that for him instead of being like, Oh, well, why am I not winning? You know, that was like such a huge reminder of me of like this is why it's so important to celebrate not just your wins, but everybody else's because we're all contributing to this collective energy that we're all tapped into. So I think that I think so too.
SPEAKER_01I think we're moving into to this next phase of humanity that takes us from competition to collaboration and and that little step, those little you know, reminders are so beautiful and like, oh right, like I can't do this, I can't be the only person, you know, that does what I do because I wouldn't be able to reach, you know, I can't reach the entire send my message to all of humanity, right? And even the thing about being a teacher is like you can have three different teachers all teaching the same subject, but one of the three will resonate with you and you will understand what they're saying, and maybe two of them it goes in one ear and out the other because it's not the way that you needed to hear it, it wasn't the time you needed to hear it, you know. It's just like so. I think if we get into you know, maybe an industry or some sort of career path even that you're like feel this scarcity and lack, like, oh, there's so many coaches, or there's so many nurses, or there's so many teachers, like there's not gonna be a job for me, or like, is this saturated? No, no, it's not because you only have the capacity to hold space for so many people at one time. The same way a nurse can only have so many patients at one time, and the same way a teacher can only have so many kids in their classroom at one time. It's like we need to have more people interested in the things we're in because we can't put all that weight on our own shoulders either, and then you get collaboration where you work together and you put your minds together and you have these conversations and you expand past the capacity that you have on your own, and again, we're all here to create for this oneness of humanity. You know, we're not doing it from a place of I need this and I want to be right, and I want to be heard, and the I is the ego, and I think the ego really feeds us this illusion of separation, but separation is the illusion. I think so many people believe in separation as the truth and the illusion being the connected interconnectedness, but it's very much the other way around.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, yeah, exactly. We are all of the same consciousness, and it's like the separation which we're sitting in so much separation right now, of like, oh, this guy believes in this, so I can't be friends with him, and all these things, and it's okay, like you said, this this idea goes back to how many different religions, like this is what Jesus was teaching, too. Of like, we are all sons of God, like you know, we all have that divineness in me in us, like we are not separate from the source, we are the source, and we have the power within us to create and manifest whatever we want in this physical reality. Um, so yeah, it's just the separation, what it's it's kind of our our downfall right now because we're not seeing past it, we're seeing it as yeah, the I, the the self, the ego, and it's like one, we are more powerful in numbers, and we are exactly we when we collaborate, it's who is better than one. Two brains can you know, I can done twice as fast, yeah. And it's like the perspective of different minds is so so powerful.
SPEAKER_01So yes, don't forget, we're all one. But we're gonna move on to the next law so we can get through all twelve and not be two hours long of an episode. Number two is the law of vibration. This core idea is that everything is in motion and has a vibrational frequency. So we learned this in science class when we are children that solids, liquids, and gases all vibrate, just in solids, the molecules are closer together versus a gas, they're far apart. And the same goes for everyone and everything in the entire universe. Uh, this really teaches us that the importance of vibration and it also really moves into the topic and truth of resonance, which goes hand in hand of vibration, of like what frequency you vibrate at, what the things in the same vibration that you were in will resonate with you. That's why truth is subjective, and whatever you believe, whatever you the thoughts, feelings, emotions, and experiences that you have are going to be of a different vibration than mine, and that means that the truth, what is true to me, might not feel true to you because the resonance isn't the same for both of us.
SPEAKER_02Yes, I would say that that resonance does go into like the law of attraction as well, which we'll get into. I like to think for it like the law of vibration, because it's like, yeah, we were taught solid, liquids, gases, whatever the molecules vibrate closer together in a solid, and but this goes so much deeper than that. This is everything is a vibration. Your words, your thoughts, your feelings, your emotions. This is why when you sorry, my you might hear my kids screaming. Um when you walk into a room, like this is why feng shui is a practice, because everything in your room vibrates at a different frequency, like a round object is more feminine, the way things bounce off of it isn't the same as a rectangular object. So if you want your room to feel softer, you want rounded corners on your bed frame and like like macrame and whatever, you know. It's like that's why fee the feelings of rooms can feel different, and that's why it feels real damn awkward when you walk into a room after someone was just arguing because they were just vibrating. The words they were using was angry, and those were all vibrating at a frequency, and you walk in and you pick up on that because your body, guess what, is a tuning fork. You are an instrument and you pick up on that. Um, so we will get more into like resonance and stuff with the law of attraction, which is coming up, because exactly that you're a tuning fork, and what you surround yourself with, that's what you're tuned into, and that's what what your instrument is. That's the note that you're performing, right? And it's like everything around you, like the physical reality is a symphony, that's what it is. You can everything has a frequency, and you can make a music, you can make music out of it, and it's like even you look at materials, okay, your linen and your wool, those are like 1500 hertz, and your cotton is 500, and then you get down to polyester and it's zero hertz. Like even the clothing you wear, it's so important that like that's a frequency too, and that can also bring your vibration down if that's what you're surrounded, yeah. Surrounded with.
SPEAKER_01I think this one's a really good invitation to think about like you know, you are who you surround yourself with, so the people that you surround yourself with. If you are around people that are constantly gossiping or full of drama, talk about low vibrational things. Music is a really big one. I've noticed this so much in my life. I did a really big music detox, especially after being a DJ and learning so. Much which also really teaches you the law of vibration because you are in charge of the energy of the entire room. If you are a DJ and you're playing music and something happens and it stops, you feel that like the and so that's why there is actually technique and science behind DJing of taking people on this energetic journey of you know the frequency of music. Now I go to an event, and if somebody's not good at DJing, I'm like, oh no, this person doesn't understand the assignment because you can't go from like a slow song into a party song, into a country song, into over you're like, what is going on? I don't understand. Whereas you have to kind of get into learning how to flow, but also that being said, the music industry has some extremely low vibrational frequencies used to make music, and it's not a rabbit hole we're gonna go down today, but I will say that music detox that I did for myself after coming out of this lifestyle and listening to this kind of music all the time. I started listening to like less music overall, or only intentionally music with high vibrations put into it when being made, and now I notice like almost instantly, if a song is going to bring down my vibration, I will notice I was at work one day and there was just a playlist on in the background, I wasn't even thinking about it, and by the end of my shift, I was like, I feel so sad right now, and I don't know how to ex like why I'm sad. Like nothing happened to me today to make me feel sad, and then I realized, oh, there was just a Noah Khan playlist on in the whole background all day long. That's like, don't get me wrong, the man is talented and his voice is beautiful, but everything he sings about is of a low vibration. He's talking about depression and alcohol and all these things, and life is sad, and I'm from the north, and oh my god, it's a lot all day long. We don't realize this, but it does. It affects our frequency of our entire body and and of our cells, and it affects our health and and the thoughts that we have that we're tuned into. I also notice this, like with mine and Grace's relationship, we're very often on the same wavelength of the same frequency, and we share thoughts back and forth between each other, as in we can finish each other's sentences, or I will say something, and she's like, Oh my god, I was just thinking that, and it happens to us all the time.
SPEAKER_00Telepathy.
SPEAKER_01Yes, but it's like if you're not on the same wavelength as somebody, you're not gonna have that, like, oh my god, that's what I was thinking, because you're not in the same frequency.
SPEAKER_02Totally. Okay, let's move on because a lot they're all so interconnected that it's like what we talk about with that is really gonna lead into other ones as well. We're just gonna be repeating ourselves. So, the next law is the law of correspondence. This states that your outer world reflects your inner state as above, so below, as within, so without. So we've talked quite a bit about this. We talked a lot about this on our last two episodes, and how your inner state, your thoughts, your feelings, your beliefs, that is all gonna be a reflection of what you're perceiving as reality on the outside. If you're thinking that life fucking sucks and I'm fat and I'm ugly, and all those things, your subconscious mind is your little genie, and it says, Yes, you're right, here is the proof to solidify your beliefs. So we did talk a lot about that in past in the past episodes, so you can go check out those episodes as well. And we talked about the levels of consciousness, and as you kind of raise your level of consciousness, your outer world, your outer state, just becomes so much more beautiful and so much more um magical. So Hannah, you have anything to say about that?
SPEAKER_01Um, I think this really can help you understand the matrix and understanding that of this game that we're playing, which again I'm not gonna really go into it because we did just talk about it, but I like to really think about this also as your physical health. I think a lot of people talk about this in court, um, connect it to money, is always the example, which is true, but also I really as a practitioner look at this as our physical health. Like, what what if you're experiencing internal physical health issues, what are you not dealing with externally? Um, that is manifesting as a physical problem because it is all connected, and this is also called the law of mirrors. It's the same um same law as this. Your life is just a giant mirror, it is holding a mirror up to you, and you are looking at yourself, every person you meet, everything that makes you frustrated, every problem that you have, it is within yourself that you are gonna find the answer to that pro the solution to that problem.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I think that's a good way, like it is a good good reminder of that too. Of I heard this analogy one time, and it was like if you're sitting in a movie theater, excuse me, and there's an issue with the movie, and it's like you you're getting mad at the screen, but the screen is a neutral event, and the film is what's projecting that onto the movie screen, and the film is your internal dialogue, it's what you consume, it's the music you listen to, it's the choices that you make because you are a physical embodiment of your choices and what you put into your body through all of your five senses, and so if you want to change the movie, you don't get mad at what's external, you go to the film and you change your thoughts and your beliefs, and what you're consuming, and your outer world, and the movie on the screen will change. And I I thought that was such a good analogy to like really understand that, like, it seems so silly that you would get mad at the movie screen, right? But so many people think that it's an external thing when in reality it's all within you, and yeah, we talked about that in in our past episode. So if you want to hear more about that, definitely go listen to those because we really kind of deep dived into our experience with that as well as kind of other people across the board in history. Okay, next moving on.
SPEAKER_01Okay, the next one is the law of attraction, which is similar to the law of vibration, but I think there is a really big misconception about this law that I want to clear up. It is people think that it is um essentially the idea behind it is like attract likes. You're going to attract what you are, though. People think you are going to attract what you want, and that's not true. It's you attract what you are. So this again plays into law of correspondence in the mirror and also vibration. Whatever level you vibrate at, whatever your internal reality is, is going to be your external reality, and that is also what you attract in others. This might be like for I'll use myself as an example. In my last relationship, it was really a mirror for me and a reminder that I was abandoning myself, and there's all these themes of abandonment I went through in my life, and I could blame my parents, I could blame my ex-boyfriend, I could blame all these other people in my life who seem to have abandoned me. But the reason this theme keeps occurring is because I was continuously abandoning abandoning myself, and as soon as I made that realization, I was like, Oh, well, if I quit abandoning myself, nobody else can abandon me. And I have this, you know, this law of attraction, and now moving forward, I'm not going to be attracting a partner that's abandoning me because I'm not abandoning myself, and I think that the biggest hack for this law and understanding is to act in the way that you already have it, become that version of you that is the one that you want to be, start acting like them now and create that identity shift. That's how you quantum leap, that's how you close the gap. Because if you just sit there and and hope that something's gonna happen, you hope that your dream partner's gonna walk through the front door. No, and if some dude walks to your front door and says, I'm your soulmate, you should probably call the cops because that's weird, and I don't know that I would trust that, right? You have to go out, put yourself out there and and um be able to attract people into your into your life.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I think with this one it's a lot about like doing the inner work because for most people it's like we'll take the toxic ex example because so many people are in this loop of like they only attract really toxic, icky men, and it's like they jump from man to man and are like, oh like why? Why do I always attract these men? And it's like, well, it's it's because of your self-worth or your boundaries for yourself or whatever it is that you're struggling with, and that really you know you're attracting that because that's that's what you think about yourself. You don't think that you are worthy of a man who is going to take good care of you and isn't up to no good or whatever the situation is. So it comes really to this place of inner work, which is related to the law of correspondence as well, of like fix your inner world, your outer world has no choice to follow. If you are putting out the vibration that is a higher vibration, you will attract that vibration. So, yeah, yeah, those last three are very, very, very connected, and then you get into the the resonance as well. If you're vibrating at a certain frequency, that's exactly what you're going to attract. Your brain is like a radio station, everything exists simultaneously on a radio station. All the radio waves exist, it depends what you're tuned into, is what you hear. Reality is the same. If you're tuned in to a low vibration, that's what your reality is going to be. If you change the way that you think, feel, and believe about yourself and believe about the world, that's gonna change, and you're gonna attract that into your life. Okay, so let's move on because I think we are repeating ourselves a lot. Okay, uh, law number, what are we on? One, two, three, four, five. Is inspired action. So this is a really important thing in manifesting because I feel like a lot of people think of the word manifest and it's like it shows up, you just it shows up out of nowhere, like you it comes out of your hoo-ha. I don't know. Um, that's not how it works, okay? Uh, you must take active steps to achieve your goals. It doesn't sh you can't just think really hard that you want a hot body. You have to work out and eat healthy, like you can't eat McDonald's and expect to have a six-pack. That's those actions don't align with the version of you you want to be, so you're never gonna become that version if you continue to act in the way that you are acting. So the action is the bridge between your thoughts and your physical reality. You can think all these things all you want, but if you're not taking the proper steps, which is in alignment with who you're trying to be, it's just not gonna fucking work. It that's not how it works. Um, we live in a dense dimension. Yes, there are dimensions out there where you can say, Thank I want ice cream, and it boom, it's there. Um, this is a school where we can learn to manifest because we don't have um a lot of control over our thoughts of a as a collective, and if we were able to manifest like that, you think fire, and then a forest burns down. So, you know, um this is the steps you need to take to manifest. It doesn't happen overnight.
SPEAKER_01You must take a line steps with your goals, and I think there's a little misunderstanding about manifestation too, that it's like only some people are manifesting. No, we are all manifesting all the time. It's learning how to manifest actually what you want, right? Because it is your internal reality being reflected back to you. So you are you did manifest this current situation you're in based on what you've been doing in your life over the last amount of time. So, yes, but action, it can't be all all thought and no fire, no do no motivation, no drive, no passion. You gotta have all that in there as well.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, it's like the the masculine and the feminine, right? You need the you need the both, you need the action in the masculine and the creative flow and thought for the feminine to have your whatever you want, you know?
SPEAKER_01True.
SPEAKER_02Okay. Next.
SPEAKER_01The next law is the law of perpetual transmutation of energy. I also like to see this as alchemy, the thought of turning something into something else. They used alchemy to turn the lead into gold. Energy is constantly changing form, and consciousness can transform experiences. So this is like going from from where taking what you have now and turning it into something else. So this is also the idea that energy cannot be created or destroyed, only transmuted and transformed into different energies. To me, this law just reinstates that reincarnation is real. I have and always will believe in reincarnation because energy is forever just changing form, and we can see this in terms of science and how a water can be a solid, liquid, or gas. It's just changing form. Our soul is no different, it doesn't just disappear into the ether and and become nothing, it is changing form. Right now we're in a physical form in this body, but before this, we weren't in a different form, and after this, we will be in another form. And I also think that you can see this in terms of anything you create. Before the painter creates the painting, it's a canvas and it's paint and it's a paintbrush, and you go through this process that then creates it into the painting. And again, it's not something that you can just think it to be there. It it happens through energy exchange, it happens through action, it happens through creative ideas and inspirations, but it's can energy cannot be created or destroyed, only transformed.
SPEAKER_02Totally, and I like the idea of thinking it uh thinking of it like alchemy because I I love the idea of alchemy, and it's like when you look at it, it's such a beautiful thing, and you know, we look in it as terms of like turning lead to gold, but the people that were practicing alchemy that's not what they were doing. They were transforming their souls and they were taking themselves from the victim consciousness from a low vibration, and they were exactly that looking at things from a new way and and becoming this more enlightened person, and you know, it's the same event, it's the same thing that happened to you, but the way that you look at it is so important. Sorry, someone's trying to and it's like for me, like in our last episodes when we talked about the levels of consciousness. This is what you do, you alchemize to raise up that ladder, and something that used to be like, Oh, why did this happen to me? Oh, that fucking sucked, like whatever it is. Now you look at it as like, look at what that taught me. That was so you know, yeah, that sucked, but it was so beautiful, and it is it is so amazing when you can look at it from that point of view and really flip that because these seasons don't last forever, and we all have to go through the hardships to get to the light, which we will talk about later on. Um, but yeah, I just think that if you can transform those negative things to see it from the positive, you're just kind of so much better off, and you can really use that to your advantage of like what is this trying to teach me? You know that your outer world is a reflection of your inner state, so what is this trying to teach me? Am I told to go inward and work on this part of myself? You know, why is this a trigger? Is it something from my childhood or whatever it is? I just think it looking at it from different perspectives is just so powerful. Absolutely.
SPEAKER_01I agree. This also will tie into the law of relativity too, because it's also also yeah, very connected. Okay, next.
SPEAKER_02Okay. Next up we got the law of cause and effect. Every action has an equal and opposite reaction. Okay, we learned this in elementary school as well. And a lot of people call this karma. So this is, I feel, um, really ties into the like divine oneness law because it's just so important that like we're treating each other how we want to be treated. That's our our golden rule, because it's like everything you do has such a great effect, you know, it's the butterfly effect, and I just think that yeah, it's just like if you're gonna be unkind to someone else, like expect that back. You know, it might be in a different form, it might not even be in this in this lifetime, but this is a very real thing, and the more you can be conscious of that your actions have a reaction, and you know, the more positive things that we can put out into the quantum field, the more positive things just happen all around for all of us.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I agree, and yeah. I think too that this something that has really helped me with this and understand this and put it really into perspective is I think a lot of people, or at least myself, I used to get stuck in karma thinking it had to be instant or something that you see, you know, come to fruition for yourself or for others, like right away. And I think we need to realize that in order to actually fully see the effects of karma, you have to zoom out on such a broad scale because it also explains to why why did somebody get born into the situation that they got born into? Because if you don't understand karma, if you don't look at it through this lens, it's confusing. It makes everything seem unfair, it makes everything seem like you know, why does good things why does bad things happen to good people? I've heard people say that all the time, and I'm not saying that this person is good or bad, or the thing that happened to them is good or bad, but it's a lesson that person needed to learn. You know, I'm not gonna sit here and say it's fair that this, you know, this is fair and this isn't fair, but you have to look at it from a completely zoomed-out thing. It's like somebody that does something so awful, their karma isn't gonna be what they get from the justice system. Their karma is gonna be the lifetimes that they have after this one where they're paying for what they did. And I think it can help bring a lot of peace, especially in this time of the world where information is coming out about people doing unspeakable things, and we're not seeing justice being served in terms of our justice system. No one's being arrested, nobody's being put in jail, nobody's having nothing but a s a slap on the wrist for these awful things. And This is things like I would lose sleep at night over these things. Like, how is this fair? But it's not fair if you look at it this close up to this one singular situation. As soon as you zoom out and you see the whole picture, you're like, oh, this is beyond my control because karma is going to take care of this, and this person that did something so awful. Karma is karma is what you are. So karma's a bitch. Karma's only a bitch if you are being. You are, yeah, exactly. But I think I hope that can help if you're somebody that struggles. Like I used to so bad about things being fair, or people that have done awful things just having faith in the powers above that like you're gonna get it, not in this life. Maybe, maybe that's why we don't think things are fair, but there is an equilibrium in the universe. There is this balance that must always take place. And if somebody does something that awful and but just have faith that they're getting it, you know. Maybe the next per maybe the next life, they're the person that they did the awful thing to.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, you know? Well, exactly. And it's like we, you know, in we look at it as like heaven and hell, and and this is you know, it's like be a good person. This is what Jesus was trying to teach us, like be a good person because you know, if you're not, you're gonna experience, you know, it might not be like an eternity, but it's like your next life is probably not gonna be all sunshines and rainbows if you're doing the unspeakable things that we're now knowing that people are doing on this planet, like, you know, so it's like just be a good freaking person, okay? We are all one, love each other, love each other.
SPEAKER_01Love thy neighbor like you love thyself.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, seriously. It's just like when you look at it from so many different religious viewpoints, it's like that's what they're saying, you know. It's like, yeah, you're gonna have to sit with the decisions that you make, and yeah, it might not be in this lifetime. You may think you're getting away with being a POS, but you're gonna have you're not. You're you're gonna have to sit with that, and it's probably gonna be even worse than it was than the pain that you did to somebody else. So just be kind, everybody.
SPEAKER_01And we're all one. So if you're hurting somebody else, you're just hurting yourself. You're hurting yourself, exactly.
SPEAKER_02And you're hurting everybody.
SPEAKER_01Everyone. Because we are all freaking wise.
SPEAKER_02Don't be like that. Love is the answer. And it's like, yeah, the golden rule treat others how you want to be treated. That's like the most the most like real state, like like probably overlooked too.
SPEAKER_01It is one of those things.
SPEAKER_02Because I was taught that in kindergarten. There was a pit poster on the damn wall in kindergarten, and it's something you hear all the time, but like I don't think I actually truly understood that until I was like, how old am I? 24 years old, and I started learning about the law of one and the laws of the universe and all this stuff, and then I was like, Oh, treat people how you want to be treated, because we're all one.
SPEAKER_01This is the same with the as within, so without, as above, so below. That's another one. You hear that all the time. Movies, like, and it's like, wait, do we actually understand what that means? I didn't. I didn't, I didn't either. Okay, we're gonna move on to the next. The next law is the law of compensation. What you give and put out into the world eventually returns to you in some form. Okay, so the thought behind this one, I think people automatically hear compensation and think money, but I don't think that it is limited to money. It is also every single thing that is a currency to us, it is abundance, but of what? Love, joy, peace, time, family-like all these things, it's not necessarily gonna be given to you in a check in the mail. But I also think this law really uh asks us to be of service. How can we be of service to others? Because the more that we are of service, the more we're gonna be compensated, the more that we are gonna meet the right person, have opportunities given to us, be able to show up in these different ways where we are valued and our skills are seen and we're heard and understood, and all these things that are sometimes more valuable than money ever can be. And yes, financial compensation is also a part of this, right? You get the dream job, you get the opportunity, you attract the clients, but it is when you're coming more so from a space of service, and it's like help somebody just because they need help without the underlying like narrative that, yeah, the expectation that you're gonna get it back, and just know that like when you do good, good returns to you.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I agree. I was just literally just gonna say that of like you don't you can't do it in a place of expectation, it's gotta be f from a place of complete trust in the universe, and that we are all one, and you reap what you sow, and you know you're you are you're gonna get back exactly what you put in, and that's and we talked about this in our last episode as well of the highest form of consciousness, which is complete service to others and and living as the observer, and I think that it's something we can all practice is like yes, we think of money, and it's like yes, we can give because if you're not gonna give when you have nothing, you're not gonna give when you have everything you want, but it doesn't have to be that either. It can be a smile, it can be picking up garbage, it can be you know little acts of kindness that is also rewarded back to you. It's like you know, you can plant the seeds, but if you don't water it and you don't weed it and you don't give it the love and attention that it deserves, you're not gonna have a bountiful harvest. You know, you get from your garden what you put into it, the amount of love and work you put into it is what you're going to get out of it. And obviously, there's out word forces that have power over your garden, like my garden this year, but it's just like yeah, I just like to look at it like that. Like you do you reap what you sow, right? You need to 100% in to get out.
SPEAKER_01I didn't tell you this, but I after that I went for that episode. We recorded that. I went for a walk and I picked up this. There's not a lot of garbage here in Blue River, but I came across a piece of garbage and I picked it up and it was a receipt, and the phone number was 222. I was like, there you go. Um, but yeah, I was like, hmm, that's funny because we were literally just talking about that, and that was what I saw on this piece of garbage, so I picked it up and put it in my pocket to put in the garbage when I got home. And it feels good because Mother Earth is just like, thank you, I don't want all this gunk everywhere. Okay, moving on.
SPEAKER_02The next law is the law of a relativity. This law states that everything is neutral until it is compared to something, so nothing is inherently bad or good until it is compared to something. So I like to think of this example of like it's raining, okay? So if you are a farmer and it's raining, you are like, hell yeah, this is awesome, right? I need this water for my crop. But if you're a bride and it's your wedding day and you're have an outside ceremony, you're upset. The rain is the neutral event, but depending on what you're looking at it is if it's good or bad, right? Um so a problem only feels large when it's compared to a smaller issue. A setback only feels disappointed. Disappo you only feel disappointed in a setback when you're comparing it to your ideal outcome. Um it helps us, but this a lot helps us reframe our hardships and see things from more of a bigger picture kind of thing, you know, finding the the happiness in the downfalls or whatever.
SPEAKER_01The pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. No rain, no rainbow, okay? Yeah, no rain, no flowers. I actually had this happen to me this this spring. I started I started working at this resort, and we had this little supper, get to know everybody, and this girl started complaining about how it rains here all the time, and I just said, Yeah, but we have so many rainbows, and she was like, What? And I was like, We have so many rainbows here. Like, I never see rainbows like I do when I'm here because we get the perfect rainbow weather, and also it's like we live in a rainforest, it is the most lush green trees, forests, everything is so beautiful. So, yeah, we have to put up with the rain sometimes, but it's you know, in seasons and whatever, she didn't really have much to say to my rainbows. But literally that night I went for a walk and saw the most beautiful rainbow, and I just had a little moment of me and the universe, and I was like, but we get the rainbows, like I'm not gonna complain about this rain and how beautiful we I am surrounded by lush mountains then and rainbows. Like, but yeah, you're right. If it was my wedding day, I might be upset that maybe that it's raining, although they say that is good luck.
SPEAKER_02Also, like with the with the wedding the wedding example, it's like you know, usually when things like that happen to us, like okay, my wedding day, that was the windiest day of the whole fucking year. It was ridiculous, it was crazy. Like, I I had to hold my wedding dress walking down the aisle because it was like blowing around, like it was nuts. Our hair is just all over the place in every picture, and like I am usually one that like I don't like being in the wind, it's very, very overstimulating to me. And so we got married at like a family friend's house, and we had everything set up in like the open kind of field of their yard, looking over like they have like a creek in their yard, and so my boss calls me because she's there setting up the flowers, and she's like, and I had like these beautiful like flower arches, and she calls me and she's like, Chris, it's way too fucking windy for these flowers, like they're not gonna stand. And I'm like, Elise, make it happen. We're gonna have to move the ceremony, and I was like, Oh, I don't want to do that, and we're like almost at the re at the ceremony, like pulling up in the limo, and I'm like, just do it so stunning. And my my boss's daughters stood behind the flowers and like held them up so they stayed up, and so it was hilarious because I'm just sitting there getting married, and her little daughter Harlan's like is like so excited that she's part of the ceremony. But I'm like, usually when stuff like that happens, it's just the universe asking you to can you go with the flow? And usually it just like really works out. Like it was better, my wedding pictures were gorgeous, like it was so much better than it would have been.
SPEAKER_01Like, yeah, it was so small and intimate and tucked away, and like, yeah, it was it was like it was actually meant to be there.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, and it was, and that's exactly like like we were talking about earlier, like everything is so divinely orchestrated, and and like we talked about in our last episode. It's like if you can allow the universe to work through you and just like go with the flow and let it guide you and and see it from a different the outer perspective of like okay, this is trying to just like redirect me a little bit, or whatever it is, it's just like you're gonna save yourself a lot of fucking stress, honestly. If you start if you start, because trust me, I was a I was a very str I used to be so stressed and so like controlling of like why isn't this working for me? And then as soon as I let go and surrendered, I was like, Oh, it makes so much sense, and I'm so less stressed all the time now. I'm like, I'm actually just like chill because I'm like, who cares? I'm like backed up in traffic, I'm like, oh, the universe is just reminding me to slow down today.
SPEAKER_01Saving me from a car accident, yeah, literally. I also one last thing for this law is that a really good example for this is like the relativity of time, too. I think because the perspective of time, if you are surrounded by the people that you love and you're having a good time, time goes so fast. And if you're holding your hand on a hot stove, uh one second feels like three hours. So, you know, I think our perspective, our attitude, our beliefs behind every experience we have is gonna make life feel effortless and flowy and and divine and abundant, or we're gonna be scraping our heels on the you know, the sidewalk on the way to do whatever we we dread, which is also I think like we should just try and do things that you love, try and do things that light you up, try and do things that make time feel like it doesn't exist because those are the moments that make life worth living. And yeah, if you're doing something that you feel like you're doing this all the time, like maybe that's your sign not to do that thing. Okay, on to the next. The law of polarity. This is two opposites, uh there are two opposite ends of the same spectrum, and one can transform into another. The best example for this is yin and yang. Okay, if you know the yin and yang symbol, half is black and half is white, but there is white within the black and there's black within the white. This represents the divine feminine, the divine masculine, it represents good and evil, it represents everything that has an opposite, it doesn't matter what it is. Love and hate, you know, oneness and separation. There is two sides of the same um coin, and we need both in order to understand the other. Like without one, there wouldn't be other. If we never experienced sadness, would we ever appreciate joy? If we never had heartbreak, would we ever appreciate what it feels like to fall in love? If we never have loss, if you don't lose somebody close to you, then you maybe don't have the time to appreciate how special they were in your life, you know, and it's like again, with the relativity, you can look at all these things like they're bad, but it's uh what does it teach you to appreciate? What does it teach you to learn about the other side? And how can you take that perspective and put yourself in somebody else's shoes to be more kind and understanding, empathetic towards other people as well?
SPEAKER_02There's no difference, like it's just like love or the lack of love, you know. And the more you can you wouldn't know what that you wouldn't even know what love feels like if that's all you ever experienced. You wouldn't know what happiness feels like if you didn't experience the opposite. So I am very thankful that we live with polarity because it is it just can teach you so much about everything, about yourself about the world, others exactly. Okay, next is the law of rhythm. Life moves in cycles, patterns, and rhythms. Nothing is static. We go through highs and lows, summers, winters, joy and sorrow. No phase lasts forever. The degree the pendulum swings in one direction is the exact degree it will swing in the other direction. So I think that like as humans, we're kind of really disconnected to this because our earth goes in cycles, the moon goes in cycles. As women, we go in 28-day cycles as well, and like you know, we go through the seasons, which is just a metaphor for the seasons of your own life, and I think that we're really, really disconnected from the natural rhythms of life, and the more that you connect to those, also the more you understand yourself.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, that's been such a game changer in my life. Learning what each phase is, you know, what season it is, and how to work with my flow with my cycle versus flow against it, and like planning my life around it. Like, because you know, when I'm in my luteal, I don't want to do anything. I don't want to go socialize, I don't want to do these things. It's not what my energy is set up for. So I know if I'm gonna plan a girl's night, if I'm gonna plan a trip, if I'm gonna plan something where I need to be social, I'm gonna plan for it to be in the first half of my cycle. And it's just like that might sound silly or seem simple, but like this is the thing, it's like you understand that there is the seasons. It would be like if you were a farmer and you tried to plant your crop in the middle of the winter, that would be silly, you know it wouldn't work. The ground is frozen, it's just not gonna happen. And so I think it's like you know, we learn to to ebb and flow, and that if you have a day where you're in the funk like I was today, and you didn't feel like showing up, rather you have the tools. Like I went and I moved my body and I ate some healthy food, and I talked to myself like out loud, like voice recorded information to like get it out of my brain, and I helped myself. I also, this is like an analogy I love of like learning how to surf so that you can ride the wave instead of letting the wave just keep crashing into you and you feel like you're drowning. Learn how to surf, ride the wave, have fun with it. And it's like the waves are still gonna come, they're still gonna crash, but at least you're like, Woo-hoo!
SPEAKER_02Yeah, exactly. And it's like that really ties into like you know, we all have patterns that we repeat in our life, and like becoming aware that you are stuck in a pattern and this version of you. So, like, what can you change? What like for me, I would go in like kind of a week cycle. Sometimes it would be longer than that, of like, I'm doing doing really good, and then all of a sudden I'm like getting angry again, or like whatever it is, and then you know, I had to really really become aware of like okay, I'm I feel it coming, I feel like I'm falling back into that and learning the tools of like okay, no, I'm not going back there again. What can I do to get myself out of it? And and yeah, like it doesn't last forever, these seasons of loneliness, it doesn't last forever, and just like the law of polarity, we have to experience the lows to really feel the highs, you know. So, yeah.
SPEAKER_01Okay, one last one last law before we wrap it up, because we're at an hour, so it's kind of perfect timing. We have the law of gender, which is that masculine and feminine principles exist throughout creation and are necessary for generation. Now, I'm not saying this has necessarily has to do with it, does have to do with like man and woman, but it's more I see this as like masculine and feminine energies, which equal the creation of life. So if you think about creating anything from a child to some sort of creation, whether it be a project, a business, an idea, a podcast, it doesn't matter, whatever it is that you're creating, there has to be both sides of the feminine and the masculine. The feminine is the womb, it's the flow, it's the intuition, it's the idea to have this creation in the first place. And the masculine is the action to drive, the passion, the motivation to bring it into fruition. Just like you need both have secret a baby, you need both energies to create literally anything. There can't be one without the other. If you only have one of these energies, it just won't work. Only masculine leads to burnout, and only feminine leads to la la land. Seriously, thinking your boy as future husband's just gonna show up at your front door, right? Like, we need this, and I think this is also important to look at the perspective of attracting in somebody else the the values that are attributes that you don't have naturally on your own. For me, I'm very heir, I'm very in my feminine. I need to attract a partner who can ground me into this reality because I like to live in la la la sometimes. And I also think that it's like you know, in a relationship dynamic, you need somebody that's the protector, the provider, the masculine, and you need the feminine, the masculine provides the house, and the feminine turns it into a home. And I think working with somebody's energy in a way that you complement each other like that brings so much more ease and peace and balance into your life. Versus if you're both trying to be the builder and nobody's there to make it a home, you know, you're missing this whole layer of your life, of your dynamic in your relationship that is just gonna end in friction or competition or explosion because you're not working together. Yes, thank you everybody for being here for all the love and support so far in this new endeavor for us.
